100th Deviation Part 1

From left to right:
Nightstar (Mar'i Grayson): 16 years old, 5'11". When I designed her outfit, I was trying to imagine how it would've been changed for the Teen Titans cartoon based on the changes made to Starfire. I brought the neckline waaaay up, changed the color scheme from silver and purple to purple and pink, changed the leotard to a shirt and shorts, added green goggles (there's a 'the goggles, they do nothing!' joke in here somewhere), and changed that headgear to a tiara and neck... thing. I absolutely love the loose baggy sleeves. I think of Mar'i as happy, strong, stubborn, and clever (raised by the Bat Family, there's no way she isn't smart). She absolutely loves teasing Damian and just getting under his skin, but out of the team, she's the one he respects most (that ain't saying much). She's interested in gardening. She'd be the leader of the new Jump City Titans.
Robin (Damian Wayne): 14 years old, 5'4". Damian is, as always, a twerp. His costume is cool, and I think I managed to draw it okay.
Impulse (Iris West): 15 years old, 5'7". For Iris, I just copied the comics' design for her costume. But I think it's freaking adorable! And I'm getting better at those lightning bolts. Iris is hyperactive, cheerful, and motormouthed. Little character note I thought up: Iris moves around a lot in her sleep, and most mornings wakes up by falling out of bed. I also keep picturing her as a singer.
Chaos (Jai West): 15 years old, 5'7". Jai is one of the few guys I really have a lot to say about, mostly because I designed most of him from scratch. Am I the only one who thinks the dynamic of 'sister takes after dad, brother takes after mom' is kind of neat? I chose 'Chaos' because I feel like everyone's used 'Hex' already, and it's kind of the obvious choice. I wanted to do something a little more unique. I think his costume is a little on the plain side, but I do like it. Since Jinx's outfit has a witchy kind of feel to it, I carried that over to Jai as a wizard motif, hence the cape. I made it black and blue a) to match Jinx's black and purple color scheme, and b) because I thought the team could use a little more blue. Jai is kind of a trickster, owing to his powers. He's also his team's resident gadget wiz.
Arrowette (Lian Harper): 15 years old, 5'5". This costume, I designed from scratch, though I did get some inspiration from the image used as the icon for #BringBackLianHarper. That X strap across her torso is actually the harness for her quiver. I like the boot design, with the arrow things up at her knees. Funny how I imagine her as the most tomboyish on her team, but I gave her a skirt. I think it's because I don't picture her as one of those 'I hate skirts' tomboys. She'll choose overalls over a dress, but she's not against looking pretty. She's, if not sarcastic, at least quippy. I'm not sure why, but I have it in my head that her dad would call her 'Ladybug'.
