Teen Titans Emotional Spectrum

Description

Taking an idea from [link] , I decided to fill out an emotional spectrum from the Green Lantern mythos with characters from the Teen Titans cartoon.

Death - Black Lantern Corps – Trigon
Trigon’s raison d'être is bringing about the apocalypse. ‘Nuff said.

Rage – Red Lantern Corps – Cyborg
Cyborg can get very angry if you push the right buttons (no pun intended). And much of his anger stems from resentment of the accident that forced him to become a cyborg, so that fits into the part about Red Lanterns being people who are angry because they’ve been wronged. Although, I think he’d likely fit in better with the GLTAS Red Lanterns than the comics’ Red Lanterns.

Avarice – Agent Orange – Red X
To put it into D&D terms, Red X is Chaotic Neutral. He does whatever he wants, whenever he wants. And that usually involves stealing something he wants. He’s only out for himself, even if he feels like doing something heroic once in a blue moon. He gives not a damn about anyone. He's easily the best representative for greed in this show.

Fear – Sinestro Corps – Slade
If you’ve seen any episode with Slade in it, I shouldn’t have to explain this. Slade takes sick pleasure in scaring the Titans (especially Robin and Raven) senseless. Even to us viewers, he’s a creepy Mo-Fo. And the Sinestro Corps isn’t just about being scary; it’s about deliberately USING your ability to instill fear to defeat your opponents, which Slade is DEFINITELY capable of.

Will – Green Lantern Corps – Robin
Robin is the level-headed leader. He’s determined, driven, focused, and fearless (mostly). He’s got the willpower to be a GL. I think this choice is pretty self-explanatory, too. He’s just a perfect fit, and I defy you to come up with another corps that better suits him.

Hope – Blue Lantern Corps – Beast Boy
Beast Boy is always the bright, cheery ray of optimism and comic relief. He’s the one you can count on to make the situation seem a little brighter. He always knows how to raise his friends’ spirits and make them feel better, and the Blue Lanterns are all about healing and instilling hope. And can’t you just picture BB saying “All will be well, dudes!”?

Compassion – Indigo Tribe – Raven
Yes, it does seem odd to make the most outwardly cold Titan the representative for compassion. But then you realize that despite the cold front she puts up, Raven is a caring person, a good friend, and very compassionate. Being an empath helps, too, since compassion and empathy (the non-superpower kind) are closely related concepts.

Love – Star Sapphire Corps – Starfire
No, it’s not just because I ship Robin/Starfire, and it’s not the obvious pun. It’s because Starfire loves EVERYONE. She cares deeply not only for Robin, but for ALL of her friends. She even finds some love for a few enemies! She’s just an all-around loving person, and the Star Sapphires, though mainly focused on romantic love, are guardians of all forms of love.

Life – White Lantern Corps – Terra
Terra came back from the dead. That seems to be the only requirement for a White Lantern Corps member. There's also the fact that The Entity, having been hidden on Earth for millenia, has a strong connection to the Earth, and Terra's powers also grant her a strong connection to the Earth.

What I wouldn't give to see Slade in the colors of the Sinestro Corps
